Recently I travelled to Holland, Michigan to visit with my best friend from high school, Ellen. Wherever I go I am always on the lookout for art and this trip was no exception. As usual I took a zillion photos! I decided I'd shared my visit with you. This is Part Two. (read Part One HERE)
I really loved Michigan. It's true I find art in everything and love to capture what I see in photographs. Sometimes it's something I see in nature, but other times it's man made structures.
Here are just a few of the photos I took.
I arrived at the Grand Rapid's Airport. What a greeting! When you walk out of the terminal you see this interesting structure and the shadows it casts everywhere.
On our very first adventure we went to a private beach. We walked down to the lower deck and just sat and enjoyed a glass of wine. The view with the Lake, sand and bluffs was spectacular, but I loved the housing too. The colors and angles appealed to me.
When we finished we had to venture back up these stairs...it was much easier coming down.
After that climb we deserved a reward, after a little rest we ventured to their local watering hole and enjoyed music by friends, Jack and Jeff. The craft beers were also enjoyable. OF COURSE, I took a few photos.
My photos started out artsy.... and then went downhill from there! LOL
